Changing of the guards (archivally speaking)

Since launching this blog in January, I have had the opportunity to explore the unique materials of ACLS’s collection and showcase them for a wider audience. It has been a pleasure making connections among archivists, humanities scholars and researchers especially focusing on a minimally-processed collection of Changing of the Guardsorganizational records. Alas, my work with the collection has come to an end. Never fear! Another archivist will be managing the collection in its next phase starting this August. The archivist, based at the Library, will be contributing to the blog on a regular basis, so please look forward to new postings then.

Thank you so much for keeping updated on the work of arranging and describing ACLS’s collection, which will be available at the Library of Congress by August 2014 with an electronic finding aid for easy reference. For more information, check out the Information for Researchers page. To keep up with the work of ACLS in the interim and alongside the blog, check out their Twitter feed and Facebook page.

Signing off,

Caroline
